In reference to the recommendations of the Joint Committee meeting between the National Center for Academic Accreditation & evAluation (NCAAA) and the Committee of Deans of the colleges of Medicine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was decided to embrace the 'Saudi Medical Education Directives Framework' (SaudiMED Framework) of competencies for graduates of medical colleges as the minimum requirement of learning outcomes for the programs in colleges of medicine.​
