Scientific research has accompanied test building
at ETEC from the beginning, as after each test is created, a series of analyses,
including item analysis and whole test analysis, are conducted to determine the
psychometric properties of each level, as well as the overall performance of
test-takers, and their performance based on demographic or educational
characteristics, or otherwise.
Relevant entities, whether internal at NCA or
external, are then supplied with recommendations that are issued based on the
results of these analyses.
The results also help ETEC carry out necessary
modifications and improvements to their products. Many of these studies are
action research studies, while others contribute to the relevant field of
knowledge in addition to solving relevant problems. The research community and
the society as a whole are interested in these studies and their outcomes. This
page will be dedicated to publishing these reviewed studies, which are
conducted by ETEC researchers and collaborators, in both English and Arabic.
