 Technical Committee for Military Accreditation

Pursuant to Council of Ministers Decision No. 517 dated 21/9/1439H regarding establishing a technical committee—for a duration of two years from the date of said decision—at the ETEC, including members who are specialists from military institutions, with the responsibility of developing the rules, standards, and requirements for military academic accreditation in military education and training institutions and programs, as well as granting military academic accreditation to military education and training institutions and programs; and Council of Ministers Decision No. 713 dated 9/11/1441H regarding the approval of the extension of the Technical Committee for Military Accreditation for six months as of the expiration date specified in the previous decision, HE Chairman of ETEC's Board of Directors issued a decision to establish the Technical Committee for Military Accreditation under the chairmanship of HE ETEC President, to perform the following tasks:​

 

  • Establishing military academic accreditation rules, standards, and requirements for the accreditation of military education and training institutions and programs.

  • Reviewing and evaluating military education and training institutions and programs regularly.

  • Approving evaluation results.

  • Conducting scientific studies and research and providing consultations in its areas of specialization.

  • Awarding military academic accreditation to military education and training institutions and programs.

  • Coordinating with the certificate equivalency department at the Ministry of Education concerning academic certificates obtained by military personnel from abroad.​
