 Dimiter M. Dimitrov

Published in Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, 29 Jun 2017, 50:3, 183-200

This article offers an approach to examining differential item functioning (DIF) under its item response theory (IRT) treatment in the framework of confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The approac ... المزيد

Using the Stan Program for Bayesian Item Response Theory

 Yong Luo and Hong Jiao

Published in Educational and Psychological Measurement, February 1, 2017

Stan is a new Bayesian statistical software program that implements the powerful and efficient Hamiltonian Monte Carlo (HMC) algorithm. To date there is not a source that systematically provides ... المزيد

On the Connections Between Item Response Theory and Classical Test Theory: A Note on True Score Evaluation for

Tenko Raykov, Dimiter M. Dimitrov, George A. Marcoulide, and Michael Harrison

Published in Educational and Psychological Measurement, December 6, 2017

This note highlights and illustrates the links between item response theory and classical test theory in the context of polytomous items. An item response modeling procedure is discussed that can ... المزيد

Internal Consistency Reliability in Measurement: Aggregate and Multilevel Approaches
